Best Mountain Bike Trails in Oregon
Oakridge, Bend, Hood River, Ashland. Our team's picks for one of the deepest MTB states in the US.
Oregon is a top-5 MTB state and most people rank it too low because the scene is spread out. Oakridge has more IMBA Epics than any town in North America. Bend has 300+ miles of singletrack inside the city and never cracks a top-10 list. Post Canyon in Hood River is where Owen learned to bike-park properly. Mia rode the McKenzie River Trail in 2024 and said "that was the best loam I've ever touched" — then made Jake ride it the next weekend to confirm.
Season: Bend and Oakridge open May/June, peak August. Hood River rides longer because it's drier than the coast. Ashland (southern OR) runs almost year-round.
